After the briefing, you will enter into the forest and search for this endangered rare mountain Go What to say. It is a lifetime experience. Not cheap, but worth every cent. Be assured of Excellent guides and trackers. Attentive porters. Just know, gorillas, that no words can describe them and the experience. I advise everyone to hire porters. I strongly recommend hiring one or two porters to carry any bags or equipment you take because there is rough terrain going mostly uphill at altitude. In addition, it helps keep local people employed. Not only that, porters are very helpful in getting you safely through the muddy uneven track. after trekking, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as above
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking
Leave for the second day of gorilla trekking, the dynamics here work in such a way that a different gorilla family will be visited. Not forgetting that with gorilla trekking, every day the experience is different. Say if yesterday you visited the Pablo group, on the second you will go to Sabinyo or Kwitonda family, who doesn’t want to spend more time with our cousins? Gorillas are amazing creatures, if it wasn’t for the price being so expensive I would dedicate my entire life to seeing the gorillas. So after trekking, we shall return to the lodge for overnight.
Note: there are reasons why I recommend two treks in case you’re unsuccessful on the first try
Day 9: Volcanoes National Park
Our guide picked us up at 6:30 am and we headed to the orientation center not far from the lodge to get into our group of for golden monkey trekking and meet our guides.
