Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your personal Tanzania guide, who greets you with a broad smile: ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide directs you directly to your accommodation, allowing you to unwind and immerse yourself in the African ambiance. The following day, your guide escorts you on a private safari, enabling you to proceed at your preferred pace. Experience the opulence of your private safari jeep and take the freedom to pause and observe the wildlife for as long as you choose!
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park, a park known for its famous attractions and these include herds of elephants and an abundance of towering baobab trees. These trees can endure for centuries, and elephants use a unique method to extract water from them during the dry season. More than that, during the dry season in Tarangire, you can observe numerous creatures, including herds of up to 250 elephants, because the Tarangire River is the sole water source.
Day 3 – 5: Serengeti National Park (central west/east)
The Great Migration travels through Serengeti National Park, making it famous as a safari destination. Impressive predator populations include nearly 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3,500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs; the massive, stampeding herds are no less so. Not to mention a plethora of other stunning creatures that your knowledgeable guide will be happy to spot beside you.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)
Ngorongoro Crater is a world-renowned natural wonder and one of seven in Africa. A massive eruption of the volcano two million years ago created the crater. Because of the rich lava, a new ecosystem has emerged, and it is currently home to more creatures than any other place in Africa! As you enter the crater, you will be greeted by an abundance of wildlife, including zebras, buffalo, black rhinos, and lions. The vistas are really breathtaking, and you won’t know where to begin gazing!
Day 7 – 8: The last day and your flight home from Kilimanjaro Int. Airport
Today marks the end of your trip. However, you still have the option to spend more time at the lodge relaxing before our driver transports you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your travel back home, depending on your flight time. Extending your vacation to one of Tanzania’s idyllic islands like Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia is another great option!
