9 days Tanzania safari [a chance to see the Wildebeest Migration and the famous Mara River crossing]
Think of a herd of thousands of wildebeests and zebras running in unison, each making its own unique sound as it kicks up dust and defends itself from potential dangers. When you factor in a river, it transforms into an absolutely one-of-a-kind display, no matter how impressive it already is! The seasonal Mara River crossing of the Wildebeest Migration in the northern Serengeti takes place between the months of July and October.
This road leads directly to this natural wonder, where, with any luck, you’ll be able to witness the herdsmen putting themselves in danger by fording a river rife with crocodiles. Sneakers? Crocs? Yes, those terrible insidious creatures; certainly, this is not a path for the faint of heart! By the way, on its return, it also stops at the Ngorongoro crater and the elephant-populated Tarangire.
