Day 1: pickup from Kigali and transfer to Bwindi after Kigali city tour 

Your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will commence with your pick-up from either Kigali International Airport or any hotel in Kigali, enjoy a short Kigali city tour. The journey is highly picturesque and will guide you through a nation characterised by several hilly landscapes, ultimately leading you to the fascinating destination known as the Pearl of Africa. To enter Uganda, you can choose to cross the border at either Katuna or Chanika. Once you have crossed, you can make a stop at Kabale town (if you crossed at Katuna) or Kisoro (if you crossed at Chanika) before continuing your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience and Overnight stay

Today, following an early breakfast, you will be transported to the Rushaga sector park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing on the rules and guidelines of Gorilla habituation . Afterwards, you will start the trekking expedition, guided by a team of researchers and Park Rangers, through the deep jungle of Bwindi. Upon locating the gorillas, you will have the opportunity to engage with them for a duration of 4 hours. However, it is important to maintain a greater distance from the gorillas as they have not yet been deemed suitable for close interactions. Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge with a vast amount of knowledge about gorilla conservation. You will then have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3 transfer to mgahinga gorilla national park (batwa cultural experience )

wake up at your convenience and enjoy your breakfast while awaiting the arrival of the Guide/Driver to commence the adventure, you will be transferred to mgahinga gorilla national park in kisoro,  upon arrival check-in, if time allows you can decide to visit the Batwa.

  Day 4: Golden monkey habituation overnight stay

On the 4th day of the 5 days gorilla habituation and golden monkey habituation safari, Wake up very early in the morning at 0530 am in order to prepare yourself for a golden monkey habituation experience . Organize your necessary equipment such as binoculars, the camera, insect repellants, and dress appropriately with long waterproof trousers, a waterproof jacket, and hiking boots. Have a substantial breakfast and pack your lunch, snacks, and drinking water. Then, meet your safari guide and drive to the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park information offices. There, you will join other guests for a briefing on the guidelines for the forest walk in search of the beautiful golden monkeys. Once you encounter them, you will spend a total of 4 hours with the monkeys, alongside researchers who study these primates. Researchers will collect samples from people selected at random to evaluate behavioral changes in families following a period of habituation exercise. They will also observe the tactics employed to acclimate them to the presence of humans. While spending time with golden monkeys, you will have the opportunity to assist researchers in collecting samples and ask them questions about golden monkeys, the Mgahinga forest, and other wildlife species you may encounter during your golden monkey habituation safari.
