Day 1: Travel from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Day 1 of 8 days Serengeti wildlife safari and gorilla trekking Rwanda after an early morning breakfast at your accommodation, with your packed lunch, your driver guide will pick you up to start the journey to one of Tanzania’s natural wonders, Serengeti National Park. the drive takes you through an epic setting of vibrant hills on the roadsides. The 6-7 hours journey will take you through other parks like Tarangire, lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro, where you will see various wildlife for about 2.5 hours, and pass-through towns like Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu. On arrival, check in for accommodation for relaxation and a night stay.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park.

The activity will start so early before sunrise and last for about one hour depending on the weather. The activity will end with a celebrated bush breakfast and champagne with a toast to the occasion. Later proceed with a game drive in the park to search out for missed animals you missed out on past game drives. Enjoy sand downers and drinks in the park and return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 5:Drive back to Arusha for a flight to Kigali

Day 6: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After a tasty morning breakfast, move out of the accommodation for a brief city tour where you will visit the Kigali genocide memorial and Rwanda Art Museum, head to the hotel for lunch, and then embark on the journey to Volcanoes National Park for the eventual gorilla trekking experience, on arrival you will check-in the accommodation for overnight.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Gorilla Guardians Village visit
After a yummy breakfast, dressed in your trekking gear, you will then be transferred by your driver to Kinigi Park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking expedition, after the briefing you will then drive to the trailhead to start your trek on foot, you will hike into the mountainous forest in the leadership of a trained game guide and ranger to search for the great apes. The activity will take 3-4 hours and on locating the mountain gorillas you will spend 1 hour in their company as you enjoy their feeding habits, how they behave in the sight of humans, and how the dominant silverback guards his family. you will be allowed to take flashless photos and later return to the lodge for lunch.
In the late afternoon hours, visit the Gorilla Guardians village, also known as Ib’yiwachu Cultural Village. In this place, you will have a true experience of Rwanda Culture. Day 8: Transfer to Kigali for your flight back home.
On this last day of your trip, wake up at your pace, have breakfast, and check out of the lodge to start on the journey back to Kigali. As you travel, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the rolling hills in Rwanda. You can make a stopover at any roadside market to interact with the locals and also buy some of their products. The driver will drop you off at the airport or hotel as you wait for the time of your flight.
