7 Days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari
The 7 Days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari will start from Kigali then after transfer to Uganda Gorilla park either, Bwindi or Mgahinga National park. You will Visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy the tree-climbing lions, and other wildlife and a boat cruise at Kazinga channel. The Itinerary will end with tracking the Chimpanzee in Kibale National and the Bigodi Swamp walk.
Detailed Itinerary; 7 Days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Kanombe airport, city tour—Drive to Bwindi/Mgahinga National park.
Upon your arrival, meet the guide and drive for the Kigali City tour. Where you will visit Gisozi genocide memorial, local market and craft shop. After, drive to Bwindi/ Mgahinga National park of Uganda. Dinner and Overnight at Kisoro Travellers rest/Rushaga Camp/Gahinga lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi/Mgahinga National Park.
Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts while with gorillas. Gorilla tracking can sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest depending to the movement of gorillas. But coming face to face with the great primates is well worth the effort. Dinner and Overnight at Kisoro Travellers rest/Rushaga Camp/Gahinga lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
In the morning, the guide will drive you straight to Queen Elizabeth National park. Via Ishasha Arrive in the evening. Depending on the time, you can have an evening game where you may spot elephants, Buffaloes, warthogs and many others. Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge/ mweya safari lodge
Day 4: Game Drive & Boat Ride along Kazinga Channel
Dawn game drive looking for the early riser and nocturnal animals like the lions, search for more wildlife like the leopards, elephants, buffaloes, water and bush backs, antelopes and warthogs among others. The experience is enjoyable and after return to lodge for lunch, then in the afternoon takes the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects the Ramsar Lake George to Lake Edward and on this cruise expect to spot wildlife and birdlife species along the shores of the channel. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park/creator lakes – Kibale National park
In the morning you may have a nother game drive or you may visit the creator lakes and after the guide will drive you to Kibale national park. Lunch en route. Reach in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest camp/ Kibale safari lodge/ Primate lodge.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking- Bigodi wetland.
In the morning, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and donts while with the primates. After enter the forest in search for the close relatives of ours. Enjoy them playing, eating and taking care of their young ones. After 1 hour, return to the headquater. In the afternoon, you will visit Bigodi wetland where you may spot many species of birds like great blue turaco, papyrus gonoleks, hornbills, waxbills, weavers, cuckoos, kingfishers, flycatchers, and many, many others. You may also spot some primates here. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest camp/ Kibale safari lodge/ Primate lodge.
Day 7: Drive Back to Kigali or Entebbe
In the morning after your breakfast, the guide will drive you back to Entebbe international airport for your flight back home.
